Bubble tea, tea houses, Asian bakeries and dessert shops in this group are usually walk-in, counter-order businesses with a menu board overhead listing sweetness and ice levels you can adjust when ordering. Standard bubble tea customization includes sugar level (0-100%), ice level, and a choice of toppings like boba pearls, pudding or jelly, usually at a small extra charge. Asian bakeries sell items individually with tongs and a tray, cafeteria-style, rather than pre-boxed, and pastries are typically less sweet than Western bakery items. Lines build up quickly after school and in the evening, especially near colleges. Most of these businesses accept cards and mobile pay and skew younger in clientele and atmosphere.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 11 am–9:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (669) 230-4987. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone.
Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 93 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded asian desserts in San Jose.
San Jose is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Traffic in San Jose peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

been coming here for awhile now and it’s been the go to spot ever since i came. my parents finally like the same spot for vietnamese dessert so that’s always a plus. i love coming here for their friendly vibe and of course their simple choices. i also love how we are able adjust how sweet we want the vietnese dessert too.

Oche Desserts in Vietnam Town San Jose is such a nice spot for Vietnamese che. I tried the avocado che and pandan soy pudding, both were really good but I definitely like the avocado more. It’s super creamy and the condensed milk sweetness went so well with the avocado, my most addictive summer combo back when I was in Vietnam and I'm not gonna lie. The pandan one is lighter but I don't like the pudding taste that much, but still tasty tho. The shop is really pretty, modern and clean, and not too crowded when I went. There’s enough space to just sit, chill, talk with friends or even do some study (I saw some people study/ work there). Service was quick too. I’d come back again for sure, especially when craving something sweet in Vietnam Town SJ. Highly recommend if you’re nearby.

A clear plastic cup of Vietnamese sweet dessert soup filled with creamy coconut milk. It has colorful layers of ingredients, giving it a bright and refreshing appearance. The dessert is served chilled with a plastic lid and a white spoon on the side. I will come back again next time to enjoy it🥰🥰

Nice new small dessert restaurant added to VN Town. This place sells good Vietnamese desserts (chè and tàu hủ). You can adjust the sweetness level which is great! Our group ordered D1 House signature (chè thập cẩm), D5 Thai dessert (chè Thái) and S1 Egg cream soy pudding (Tàu hủ kem trứng). Really delicious 🤤 I will visit again!

Beautifully decorated Vietnamese dessert shop with fresh and high quality items. The parking can be hard to find at a time but if you're willing to park a bit farther then there should be enough spaces for you nearby. There are plenty of seats inside to hang out with friends and family. The employees are friendly, they even brought the orders to our table. Otherwise, they will call you by the order numbers. Their tofu are so silky and light, a must get items! I highly recommend to go with regular sweetness because it was not too sweet at all! And if you're travelling, ask for ice on the side!!
